Associate of Science in Criminal Justice

LSUE is excited to be part of the CALL initiative, providing adults with new opportunities to earn a college degree.

Online classes offer the flexible, convenient opportunity for adult non-traditional students to attend classes electronically instead of attending face-to-face classes.

Students participating in CALL at LSUE can take a variety of general education and specific courses as part of the two-year degree of Associate of Science in Criminal Justice. The courses and degree will be delivered entirely online.

For professionals in the field of criminal justice, the Associate of Science in Criminal Justice, when united with their experience, can be instrumental in promotion and advancement. For someone starting a career or seeking a new one, this associate degree could be helpful in obtaining employment with city police departments, parish sheriffs’ departments, and state and federal agencies, as well as court systems, district attorneys’ offices, correctional institutions, parole and probation offices,  juvenile justice agencies, and private agencies.

A degree in criminal justice can help provide all of the following:

• Service to the community              • Personal challenge
• Working with people                      • A position with a future
• Job security                                  • Interesting work
• Varied opportunities                      • Secure retirement

Additionally, the associate degree program in criminal justice at LSUE generally parallels the first two years of the bachelor of science degree at most four-year universities. This allows for the possibility of transfer to a four-year institution including our partner in the CALL initiative, McNeese State University.

For additional information on any of these programs, please use the contact form or visit the Louisiana State University at Eunice CALL website.
