Bachelor of Science in Nursing for Graduates of Diploma and Associate Degree Programs

Southeastern Louisiana University’s CALL program is designed to assist nurses holding associate degrees/diplomas to obtain the baccalaureate degree in nursing. Since most nurses are now fully employed in health care, there is a need for degree programs that use technology to offer online, interactive nursing education.

Southeastern’s School of Nursing offers a completely online, asynchronous program for participants. Students control their learning activities with each course led by a faculty facilitator. Courses vary from four to eight weeks in length and use the Blackboard learning management system.

The curriculum is designed to prepare RNs with associate degrees or a diploma with a solid foundation in evidence-based practice, leadership and management of healthcare. Students enjoy the supportive interaction of a small learning community and a facilitator to further their education and careers. Prior learning assessment is validated through direct transfer or block credit of academic nursing courses or advanced placement examinations.

For additional information on any of these programs, please use the contact form or visit the Southeastern Louisiana University CALL website.
