REGISTRATION - SPRING SEMESTER 2010

LOUISIANA – Still thinking about going back to college? Still wondering if you will ever finish the degree you started so long ago? Institutions across the state of Louisiana are already registering new students, so in order to make it easy we have assembled information from our CALL campuses to quickly connect you to our members. Bossier Parish Community College BPCC Accelerated Learning Division - Multiple Spring Sessions Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC) offers 5 online, accelerated Associate degree programs for working adult students through its membership in CALL including: Business Administration, Computer Information Systems with a Software Applications concentration, Information Network Security Specialist, Telecommunications with a Media Studies concentration, and General Studies. Adult students have an opportunity to learn on a fast-track pace at BPCC with 6 accelerated sessions being offered during the spring 2010 semester. Four-week courses are offered in four sessions (Session 1 - January 15 - February 9; Session 2 - February 11 - March 5; Session 3 - March 9 - April 8; and Session 4 - April 13 - May 5) and eight-week courses are offered in two eight week sessions (Session A - January 15 - March 8; Session B - March 10 - May 5). Admissions criteria have been recently streamlined to assist adults in becoming students. Louisiana State University - Eunice Advising: Continuous Advising is available Regular registration for Spring 2010 is now through January 14. Late registration for Spring 2010 CALL classes is January 21. Early registration for Summer and Fall 2010 begins 3/29/2010. Online admission application: http://www.lsue.edu/Apply McNeese State University As a growing number of students at universities consist of adult learners over age 25, there is an immediate need to provide degree programs that will be appropriate for the family, work and time commitments of those individuals. The CALL Program has allowed McNeese State University the opportunity to refocus our efforts within the realm of adult and online learning to meet this need. The LSU-E/McNeese 2+2 CALL Partnership in Criminal Justice, allows adult learners the opportunity to reach their educational goals of earning a college degree. NSU's CALL program is adult friendly and growing in the number of students and graduates each semester. Northwestern also offers an additional 24 complete online degrees. This program provides a broad knowledge base for evidenced-based, clinically competent, professional practice in the care of individuals, groups, families, communities, and populations. 1--Registration Dates Spring 2010 Open Registration Tuesday, November 24, 2009, through Friday, January 8, 2010 Early Fee Payment Deadline- Friday, January 8, 2010 by 4:30 pm. Students are encouraged to meet and establish a relationship with their assigned advisor. All students must be advised each semester to have the registration hold removed. Appointments can be scheduled with advisors in person or the student can use the on-line advising system. If a student does not yet have an assigned advisor they can call the Hammond Nursing Office (985-549-2156) to be assigned a faculty advisor.
